Brittany Harrington
Master colorist and extension educator who helped bring professional hair extensions to the Augusta area — and co-founded Salty Locks to make the hair she wanted for her own clients.
From her first Augusta salon to set and studio
Brittany started her career at 14 and opened her first Augusta salon in 2004, co-founding Studio 285 with her sister, Amber Harrington Carraway. She became one of the first stylists to offer professional hair extensions in the CSRA and has since trained and mentored many stylists and salon owners across the region.
Known for seamless blonding and soft, natural color, she studied color techniques with celebrity stylist Kim Vo and trained at the On Set Hair Academy in Santa Monica. Her work has taken her to New York, Los Angeles and film sets.
Today she leads Salty Locks education — teaching weft and fusion installs, cutting and blending, color matching, and how to price extension services — in one-on-one Shadow Days and in-salon classes.
